UTME 2024: Expert Advice for Prospective Candidates by Abimbola Olulesi

Caleb University, Lagos, in conjunction with Farming Farmers Farms, will host the 2024 National Conference on Agricultural Journalism (NCAJ 2024) this month.
The conference, which will be themed “Capacity Building and Agricultural Reporting in Nigeria,” will take place from October 15 to 18 at the University’s campus in Imota, Lagos.
It is expected to bring together journalists, entrepreneurs, students, academics, and researchers on agriculture for knowledge sharing and networking.
Prof. Abigail Ogwezzy-Ndisika from the University of Lagos will be the keynote speaker at the conference.
Other speakers lined up for the event are Caleb University’s Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Research, Innovation, Strategy and Administration (RISA), Prof. Olalekan Asikhia, the Head of the Mass Communication Department at the institution, Dr. Solomon Oyeleye, the Chairman of All Farmers Association of Nigeria for Lagos and South-West, Otunba Obafemi Oke, the Consultant to the Ogun State Governor on Agriculture, Prince Wale Bama Oyekoya and Barr. Wuraola Oyeniyi of Duale, Ovia & Alex Adedipe Law Firm.
The maiden edition of the conference took place in Abuja on October 13, 2023.
This year’s edition offers the participants the opportunity to upscale their skills in agriculture reporting and promote research and development on food security in Nigeria, among other benefits.
